Delivering the Next available glassy workshop
Glassy workshops are run for the complete beginner upwards & each process is demonstrated before you try. I am passionate about passing on the skills of this traditional craft & assist those that wish extra help. There’ll always be a variety of glass colours & templates to choose from. You’ll be cutting glass, copper foiling, soldering through to beautiful embellishments. Using glorious beads, driftwood & wire you can customise your very personal creation. I aim for you to have a day of relaxed & glassy fun. Small class numbers ensure lots of help to hand. An endless supply of drinks & biscuits are provided – but please bring your own lunch.
I hold a current mobile DBS certificate & through the Hampshire Cultural Trust I am also trained to deliver bronze & silver Art Awards.
I currently have a diverse artistic schedule & one of my rewarding ‘hats’ is to visit local schools delivering creative workshops.
Having successfully run an infants after school art club for more than 5 years I realised this was an area I loved & wanted to expand.
I currently deliver fun & creative workshops in schools, assisting pupils to create fantastic unique displays whilst trying different artistic platforms & techniques.
Should you be interested in a school project then please call me on: 0792 9525 012 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
As a visiting artist to local pupil referral units, pupils & I have created lovely bright signs that now hang above two of the enhance foyer doors. This has also married well with a welcome sign also created. We made background boards incorporating things that are important & personal to the pupils & using individual pupil silhouettes made this a unique & vibrant installation that the pupils are proud of.
The pupils fully participated in creating the 3D signs, using photography, painting skills, printing techniques & researching worldwide printing methods. The pupils were encouraged to use individual skills sets to create their own hand prints/ collage to decorate a large welcome sign now hung in the unit’s entrance foyer. This project has given the pupils ownership of their installations & pride in the finished pieces.

You could have your own unique celebration wheel created when a group of your nearest & dearest each decorate triangular wheel inserts. Using glass paints you can each create your own designs. I will then install them into your own bike wheel installation. These are fabulous totally unique party pieces & a fabulous way to remember a special day.
