Fabulous creative morning!

Every time I walk past my garden panel I congratulate myself on how clever and creative I am ๐Ÿ˜.

I think it looks amazing but the truth is that Rachel turned all our small group into creative geniuses.

It was a fun morning and Rachel is such an easygoing, good fun teacher.

I would highly recommend this garden panel workshop as well as the sun-catcher workshop, which I did last year and thoroughly enjoyed.

I am wondering what to do next! One panel isnโ€™t enough!

Fantastic experience with Rachel

I had a brilliant time with Rachel creating a garden stained glass panel.

Would recommend to anybody who is fond of stained glass, has inspired me to take it up as a hobby ๐Ÿ˜€

Wonderful day.

Iโ€™ve just spent a morning being introduced to the fascinating craft of stain glass.
Rachel, whose enthusiasm is infectious, taught us the skills to create something to be proud of.
I found it so enjoyable Iโ€™m seriously considering enrolling in more glass workshop courses.

Wonderful

Such a wonderful day with Rachel.

Such a good, kind, patient teacher.

The whole experience was a wonderful opportunity to wrap yourself in a world of creativity, and focus just on the process of making a beautiful piece of glass.

We had a great day with Rachel making a stained glass garden panel.

Lots of laughter and a beautiful piece of work to take home.

Garden Glass panel

What can I say, Brilliant day, got to spend quality time with my daughter whilst being taught a new skill (as a novice)

by a wonderful, funny, talented, patient teacher, Rachel who is truly inspiring in what she passionately enjoys passing on to others in her craft.

From how she started out, how her 'art' journey has evolved and where she is now.

We thoroughly enjoyed the day and her passion for the craft has rubbed off on us!

See you again. Thankyou

Great session

We had a great time making a stained glass panel for the garden.

Rachel was so lovely and really took us through the stages step by step.

The finished pieces were really professional looking and now mine has pride of place on my patio.

Thanks Rachel for a lovely time.

Fabulous

Bought a stained glass making session for me and my wife for last Xmas but it took us a long time to get the date sorted (our fault!).

Anyway we were warmly welcomed by Rachel who explained what was going to happen and off we went. Using the Fid to expand the lead was a great start, could have done that all day.

Then some more leadwork, hard work, then some practise glass cutting, all well explained and demonstrated by Rachel.

And then we were off making our own designs!

The idea of making a garden "thing" is great, you get to see how stained glass products are made and you also get something quite worthy to take away - when we walked out a passer-by asked my wife where she got hers from!

I cannot fault this day out, it was brilliant and Rachel was a great host and teacher. Plent of tea and coffee and biscuits and for lunch make sure you nip across to the Powder Monkey where you get a very generous 25% discount plus not bad food and a lovely view across Portsmouth Harbour.

If you are reading this an wondering whether to spend a day with Rachel then just do it, you will not regret it, it is quite hard work, satifying and a good laugh.

You won't look at a stained glass window the same was ever again!
