What's new

All artists love a little red dot!

Love attending Titchfield Art & Craft Show, both as an exhibiting artist & as a Craft stall holder. It’s great to be back in the saddle after the enorrrrrrrrrmouse hibernation!!

seaside panels – large

Oh I loved creating these panels 😉 gorgeous seas, beautiful blues, texture, waves & little boats racing – must be the pisces in me.

What a fabulous way to celebrate a New Year of two special Birthdays 😉

So this week I’ve been teaching these lovely ladies stained glass.

In an absolutely gorgeous setting, in the depths of the Cotswolds, they’ve been working really hard & have whipped up a stunning array of glassy delights.

From garden panels to air plant terrariums, an eclectic group of glassy creations will all be going home with the ladies………making my car heave a sigh of relief – amazing how heavy a car load of lead & glass can be!

Good job girls 🙂

These two lovely people finally managed to attend their workshop & hopefully (fingers crossed) will soon to be married too. Both events being postponed because of you know what! Wishing them a fabulous future together.

Fabulous – finally things to look forward to 🙂

the art of sketchbook

So…… during lockdown ‘we’ Lucille, Elisa and myself have followed an online course by artist Melanie Cormack-Hicks Fine Artist https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/artofthesketchbook

We’ve flung ink, splattered paint, zoomed meetings and generally had a brilliant artistic journey.

I am totally loving the freedom it has bought to my mixed media work and this was yesterday’s result 🙂

garden stakes
These unique garden bluebell stakes have flown off to lots of lovely new homes this summer. Fused and stained glass flower heads can be created in a variety of glass colours & patterns. Fabulous to bring a touch of colour to your winter space.

What colours would you choose?

a lovely transom commission

a lovely transom commission

Really enjoyed the process of this transom commission. A stunningly renovated bathroom is finished off with a choice of greens and textured glass in a geometric twist in this transom window. Makes me proud when seeing in situ.

How to celebrate a special Birthday

How to celebrate a special Birthday

So this commission came in – where I was asked to make a 60 piece glass garden panel. I suggested splitting the panel into 6 decades, and I can’t tell you the amount of times I checked & rechecked that I had the correct amount of pieces. I love that I’m a part of someone’s special celebrations.
